Director of Sales & Marketing

Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Role Snapshot Lead revenue strategy and market positioning for a luxury resort in the Canadian Rockies. Own the sales, catering, and marketing functions, and help drive an upcoming rebrand and repositioning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and execute GTM plans across transient, group, and catering.
  • Forecast, analyze competitors, and optimize mix/profitability.
  • Lead and develop Sales, Catering, and Marketing teams.
  • Align closely with Revenue Management and Operations.
  • Represent the property at client meetings, trade shows, and events.
  • Turn data and insights into measurable growth initiatives.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of Sales & Marketing leadership in luxury hospitality or related.
  • Proven results in revenue, market share, and brand elevation.
  • Strong client network; excellent communication and negotiation.
  • Strategic operator with bias for action; builds high-performing teams.
Nice to Have
  • Resort/destination experience (Rockies or similar).
  • Rebrand/repositioning or new product launch experience.
  • Digital marketing/demand-gen expertise; global sales exposure.
Other Details
  • Primarily on-property; some travel. Evenings/weekends as needed.
  • Able to lift up to 20 lbs; extended computer use.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada (no sponsorship).
