Position Summary: Primary responsibility is business development, client relationship management and generating additional opportunities for receivables growth by boarding new dealer customers to the Company. High responsibility sales position that includes a territory consisting of assigned Provinces and a portfolio of existing customers and prospective new customers. Will also work hand in hand with manufacturer representatives as well as the Company’s own internal sales organization to nurture and grow the business. Major focus is on core product lines and industries served within the territory. Expectations include continuous communication with existing and prospective customers as well as the Company’s credit and operations personnel.
Education / Experience: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is preferred.
Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as marketing materials and credit applications. Ability to construct customer-facing emails, text messages and any other primary methods of correspondence on a regular basis. Ability to communicate effectively over the phone with a variety of contacts including but not limited to manufacturer and dealer clients and potential new customers.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instruction furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office required specifically Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to rapidly become proficient in the utilization of the customer relationship management software is critical.
