The stated hours of work are approximate as schedules are subject to change with the operational needs of the Health Centre. Changes made to hours of work will follow the terms of the applicable collective agreement, company policy and/or legislation.
The Director, Information technology is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the hospital\'s information technology operations. They will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in IT management, cyber security, cloud infrastructure management, and clinical information system management. The Director is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of technology services that support the hospital\'s mission and objectives. This role would be envisioned to take on the formalization and leadership of the hospitals security office, and as such on successful delivery assume the title of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
The IT Director must be adept at balancing competing demands and priorities, analyzing complex technical issues, and developing and implementing creative solutions. They should have strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams. The IT Director will be a strategic thinker who can proactively identify opportunities for organizational improvements and efficiencies and lead the development of technical proposals to support these initiatives.
