Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years work experience.
• 3+ years journeyman mechanic experience preferred.
• Experience with gasoline, diesel, and propane engines.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose repairs on various vehicles.
• Maintain organized tools and work area.

Skills

Mechanical and technical aptitude

Previous experience with light and heavy equipment

Knowledge of airbrake and electrical systems

Forklift operation

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Class 1 Driver’s license or suitable for Class 1 training
