Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills and experience in data entry, ensuring accurate and efficient management of information within our databases. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our data and supporting various administrative functions within the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Input, update, and maintain data in Sage50 ProAccounting system with a high level of accuracy.
  • Perform data entry tasks including typing, filing, and clerical duties as needed.
  • Collect and organize data from various sources to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports by compiling data.
  • Maintain organized records and files to facilitate easy retrieval of information.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve data management practices.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies regarding data privacy and security.
Requirements
  • Proven office experience with a focus on administrative tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
  • Familiarity with Jobber Software is considered a significant asset.
  • Two year Accounting or Executive Office program diploma.
  • Past experience working for an HVAC Company is also considered a significant asset.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Time management is an absolute must and the ability to work with tight deadlines.
  • Willing to learn and take on more duties to support Office Management, which includes but not limited to taking phone calls and scheduling.
  • Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
  • Prior clerical experience is a must, along with a background in data collection.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
