• Any combination of training and/or certifications in Data Science, Statistics, AI, Deep Learning, NLP, and Computer Vision are preferred.
• Two years of experience with databases, ETL, and data warehousing.
• Two years of experience with designing and deploying BI products.

Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:

To design, develop, and maintain BI solutions (like dashboards, reports, and data models) that help New Flyer stakeholders understand business performance and make data-driven decisions.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Data Integration & ETL
  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into data warehouses or BI platforms.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy.
• Report & Dashboard Development
  • Create interactive dashboards and reports
• Collaboration with Stakeholders
  • Work closely with business analysts and business stakeholders to understand requirements.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Performance Optimization
  • Optimize queries and reports for performance and scalability.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot BI systems.
• Documentation & Training
  • Document BI solutions and processes.
  • Train end-users on how to use BI tools effectively.
• Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• Post‑secondary education in a Business or STEM field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
• Any combination of training and/or certifications in Data Science, Statistics, and Artificial Intelligence (AI), Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Computer Vision are preferred
• Two years of experience with databases, ETL, and data warehousing. Oracle, Fabric and Snowflake preferred.
• Two years of experience with designing, developing and deploying BI products
• Proficient in Python and SQL programming.
• Expert with BI visualization tools. Power BI preferred.
