VRES is a non-profit organization committed to delivering affordable educational resources to the Vancouver Region community and beyond. We run a volunteer success program in collaboration with York Region Educational Services (YRES) where we recruit and mentor Canadian youth during their volunteer journeys.

About This Opportunity:

Are you a data-oriented and analytical individual? VRES is seeking Data Analysis Assistants! Gain valuable experience in data collection and analysis, helping inform organizational decision-making and improve business strategies. Develop your teamwork, leadership, and communication skills while aiding VRES to develop our educational services in Vancouver and beyond!

VRES will provide you with a role placement, in respect to collecting, analyzing, and reporting organizational data based on your interests and skills. We will then supply you with the necessary support to ensure your success in your role, including mentorship, training, and workshop resources.

Qualifications:
  • Located in Vancouver, the Greater Vancouver Area, Ottawa, the Greater Toronto Area, Alberta, or, located in Canada, and interested in a virtual placement
  • Between ages 12-30
  • Interested in education, health, environment, and/or digital services
  • Familiar with data collection and data analysis methods
