As an IGA consultant, you will lead IGA advisory and implementation projects, assisting clients with assessment, technical design, and implementation of Identity and Access Management solutions.
The ideal candidate must have experience in driving IAM strategy, technology changes, and project delivery in cloud and on-premises environments. Familiarity with risk frameworks, compliance, and auditing controls for implementing identity and access management solutions on cloud and on-premises resources is required. Experience with integrating solutions on IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Saviynt, and Microsoft Entra ID Governance is essential.
Your key responsibilities:
- IGA assessment, architecture, solution design, and development
- Subject-matter expertise in all IGA topics related to cloud and on-premises enterprise technology, including architecture relationships
- Participate in IGA governance processes and promote IAM standards adoption
- Develop architecture solutions that meet immediate needs and support business growth, aligning with strategic vision
- Create and maintain security policies and standards aligned with industry best practices and business needs, especially regarding cloud adoption
- Manage technical delivery of IGA projects, working with stakeholders, executives, and project teams
- Review and manage technical IGA roadmaps
- Provide security configuration architecture expertise during IGA solution implementation
- Develop IGA solutions addressing issues from processes, threats, and technological changes
- Implement customized use cases and solutions
- Set up IGA policies, ensure audit compliance, and establish governance frameworks
- Guide the client’s team on Saviynt functionalities, including scripting, configuration, and development of custom connectors, workflows, and policies
- Utilize Saviynt analytics tools for identity management and create custom reports, with expertise in MS-SQL
- Manage policies and rules within the Saviynt platform
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Saviynt platform issues, collaborating with vendors and internal teams
- Conduct training sessions and workshops on IGA best practices and tools
- Monitor and analyze governance metrics to identify improvement areas
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies in identity governance
- Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless integration of IGA solutions with existing systems
- Support business development through proposals and presentations
Skills and attributes for success:
Hands-on experience across all phases of IAM solution implementation and optimization of existing IGA solutions.
- 3-5 years of experience with IGA platforms like Saviynt and other products
- End-to-end IGA implementation project experience
- Experience in application onboarding, requirements gathering, and compliance provisioning
- Knowledge of lifecycle management, application onboarding, access request, automated provisioning, password management, RBAC, and risk models
- Understanding of access administration, enforcement, and governance best practices
- Experience integrating authoritative sources (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors) and provisioning into systems like LDAP and Active Directory
- Proficiency in access certifications, RBAC, and SOD use cases
- Experience with REST, SAP GRC, Entra ID, database applications, and automation in Saviynt
- Saviynt IGA certification and knowledge of development languages (Java, Webservices, SQL)
- Strong communication and documentation skills with MS Office
- Experience with cloud environments such as AWS and Azure
- Knowledge of industry standards like NIST and DIACCC
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Security certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, TOGAF, SABSA) are a plus
- Canadian Federal Security clearance is a plus

- Hands-on experience across all IAM implementation phases
- Proven ability to optimize IGA solutions
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Canadian Federal Security clearance
- Additional security certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, TOGAF, SABSA)
