Job summary

A regional health authority in Manitoba is seeking a clinical professional to work at the Arborg & District Health Centre. The ideal candidate will have graduated from an approved Medical Radiography or Laboratory program and hold necessary certifications. Responsibilities include ensuring patient-centered care in the laboratory and maintaining effective communication within the team. This role requires in-person attendance and offers a shift rotation, including weekends.

Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

Position Overview
Experience
  • Previous related experience preferred.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
  • Graduate of an approved Medical Radiography program with attained certification by CAMRT - OR.
  • Graduate of an approved Medical Laboratory Technology program with attained certification by CSMLS.
  • Graduate of an approved Laboratory or Radiology Assistant Program.
Certification/Licensure/Registration
  • Successful completion of an accredited Medical Imaging Technology Program, eligible for registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (C.A.M.R.T.) and registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (C.A.M.R.T.) within three months of hire.
  • Must maintain current licensing with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Manitoba (CMLTM).
Qualifications and Skills
  • Microsoft Office programs preferred.
  • Follow oral and written instructions precisely with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills required in English.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a team member.
  • Demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills with ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships in a multi-disciplinary teamenvironment and with external agencies, groups and the public required.
  • Proficient analytical skills.
  • Work under pressure.
  • Maintains confidentiality with all information entrusted to the position.
  • Fluent language skills (written and oral) in both French and English may be required.
  • Ability to perform duties as described.
