Job summary

A leading service provider in HVAC and construction is seeking a Credit Administrative Student for an eight-month co-op placement in Vaughan, Canada. The successful candidate will support the Credit team by processing payments and facilitating customer needs. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office. This role offers excellent opportunities for growth and development within the company.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a Business program or comparable field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate requests for invoice and statement copies.
  • Manage customer credit application process.
  • Process customer credit card payments.
  • Assist customers and branch teammates via calls.
  • Upload invoices in customers’ online portal.
  • Call customers for past due payments.
  • Update customer files as needed.
  • Manage AR, Billing, and Credit mailboxes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Overview

As a Credit Administrative Student, you will be responsible for supporting the Credit team, branch network, and customers, accurately processing payments, while effectively facilitating customers’ needs. The successful candidate is committed to providing outstanding customer service along with the ability to work well independently and in a team environment.

Note that this is an eight-month co-op placement from January to August 2026.

  • Facilitate internal and external requests for invoice, statement, and proof of delivery copies
  • Facilitate new customer credit application process
  • Process and maintain virtual terminal customer credit card payments
  • Answer and facilitate incoming calls from customers and branch teammates
  • Upload invoices in customers’ on-line AP portal
  • Call customers for past due payment
  • Update Billtrust customer files as required
  • Update Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, and Job Aids as required
  • Clear AR, Billing, and Credit mailboxes intermittently throughout the day and facilitate related requests
  • Other duties as assigned
