A major railway operator in Montreal seeks a Utility Permit Coordinator to oversee utility permits across their rail network. This role requires bilingual proficiency in English and French and involves technical and administrative duties to ensure compliance with federal regulations. Ideal candidates will have post-secondary qualifications in Engineering or a related field and strong skills in SAP and AutoCAD. A competitive benefits package is offered.
As the primary coordinator for third-party utility permits across our rail network, you will manage both the technical and administrative aspects of the permitting process. This position is responsible for ensuring complete adherence to all relevant federal regulations and standards, including those set by Transport Canada, the Canadian Standards Association (CSA), the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA), and CPKC’s own specifications.
This is a safety sensitive position and a successful pre-employment medical assessment including physical, vision, hearing, and a negative company drug test is required. Post hire qualification drug testing may also be required
