A leading health service organization in Alberta is offering Co-op positions for IT students. Candidates must be currently enrolled in a relevant program and able to work in a hybrid model. This role involves attending in-person meetings while offering a range of learning opportunities. Competence in Microsoft Office and knowledge of programming languages are essential. There is flexibility as to the location of this position within the Province of Alberta. At the time of appointment, the successful candidate may discuss location options with the hiring manager (office/home office/hybrid). The students will be required to attend meetings and workshops in person in the office. Various Information Technology Co-op Student positions are available. The IT Team is a very dynamic and driven group who engage in complex, challenging and diverse projects to deliver collective results. Please Note: This posting is for current students only; you must be currently enrolled in an applicable post-secondary program and continuing your studies in the next term for the duration of the placement. Students that have graduated or will graduate before the placement begins are not eligible to apply. All students must reside in Alberta during their employment with AHS, and do not subsidize relocation expenses.
Current enrolment in a CO-OP/Work experience program in IT, Engineering, AI field. Registered in a related field of study at a Canadian post-secondary institution.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a professional team. Ability to communicate confidently and professionally. Ability to take initiative and be responsible. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong presentation skills. Ability to multi-task. Self-directed, highly motivated, results driven. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications. Knowledge in at least one programing language.
