Marigolds and Onions provides customers across the GTA with a comprehensive catering and event production experience. From daily corporate drop-offs to large-scale festivals and sporting events, our commitment to quality and service is unmatched. We are seeking Concession Managers to oversee food and beverage operations at one of the year’s most prestigious golf and tennis tournaments. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, thrive in fast-paced environments, and are passionate about delivering an exceptional guest experience. Successful candidates will manage a busy concession, lead staff and volunteers, maintain operational standards, and ensure the smooth execution of service throughout the event.

RBC Canadian Open

  • Location: TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley (19131 Main St, Alton, ON L7K 1R1)
  • Event Dates: June 8 - 14

National Bank Open

  • Location: Sobeys Stadium (1 Shoreham Dr, North York, ON M3N 3A6)
  • Event Dates: August 1 - 13
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Location Setup & Preparation - Assist in preparing concession locations, including cleaning, equipment setup and testing, stocking merchandisers, and organizing condiment stations.
  • Staff & Volunteer Oversight - Ensure staff and volunteers arrive punctually for scheduled shifts. Provide ongoing guidance and leadership, ensuring compliance with all M&O policies, especially regarding alcohol service.
  • Training & Support - Become proficient in the POS system and train cashiers and volunteers on its proper use. Provide hands‑on assistance during peak service periods.
  • Inventory Management - Monitor inventory levels of food, beverages, and dry goods across assigned locations. Coordinate restocking needs with the inventory team.
  • Alcohol Compliance - Oversee all alcohol service to ensure adherence to legal regulations and company policies.
  • Quality Control - Conduct routine checks to ensure food and beverage quality, cleanliness, and compliance with food safety standards. Ensure proper storage, sanitation, and hygiene protocols are consistently followed.
  • Customer Experience - Maintain a guest‑focused approach by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a high level of service.
  • Team Collaboration - Work collaboratively with other Concession Managers, Event Management, and Inventory Teams to ensure consistent operations across the event.
Qualifications
  • Valid Smart Serve Certification
  • Previous management and/or event experience is an asset
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment
  • Comfortable overseeing teams, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring adherence to procedures

Position Salary & Benefits
  • Rate: Based on experience
  • Schedule: Full event availability required. You will also be asked to come in a day or two leading up to the event to help set up your location.
