The Collection Development Librarian plays a vital role in supporting the work of the Collection Development and Policy Unit by delivering high-quality collection development services informed advice and effective support to both internal and external clients. This position is responsible for gathering and analysing statistical data and trends from a variety of sources to support collection development. The role also involves regular engagement with publishing vendors and scholarly information providers to ensure that negotiated pricing licensing terms and conditions are accurately reflected in all invoices and contractual agreements on behalf of UNSW Library.
