Job summary

A leading facility management company in Ontario is seeking a Cleaner responsible for maintaining cleanliness in various areas including offices and washrooms. The role includes lifting tasks and emptying garbage containers while adhering to health and safety regulations. Associates will participate in training relevant to their work and ensure the proper order of amenities. Candidates must pass a criminal background check and are expected to lift up to 40lbs. Weekend shifts are required.

Job description

General Description

A cleaner is generally responsible for cleaning work including dusting of offices, vacuuming, the cleaning of all hard floor surfaces, washrooms, and the collection and removal of garbage from drop points to a garbage bin.

Schedule

Saturday-Sunday

Responsibilities

• Empty garbage containers and reline them, ensures washrooms are clean and in proper order
• Replenish supply of amenities such as toilet paper, paper towel, soap, hand sanitizer, etc.
• Transports garbage from drop points to garbage bins or compactor.
• Sweep, mop floors and dust furniture, vacuum carpets
• Disinfect and polish stainless steel fixtures and appliances in the washroom, door handles, walls and countertops.
• Participate in all training relevant and as required. Adhere to all health and safety regulations as outlined by the Company.
• Report any damaged or broken utilities to the supervisor.
• Must be able to lift 40lbs
• Additional duties may be required from time to time.
