Our client, in the logistigs field,is seekinga Class 5 Driverto join their team.

Job Title: Class 5 Driver/Courier
Location: Mississauga, ON
Shift: Monday to Friday: 7:00am to 5:00pm (This is a fixed shift which requires full availability Monday to Friday)
Pay Rate: $18-$22/hour(based on experience and qualifications)

What’s the Job?

• Pick up and deliver customer packages to meet daily pick-up and delivery schedules
• Assist in the facility as needed ateach stop
• Maintain and monitor trailer temperature from departure to arrival to always preserve ambient temperature
• Resolve problems as they arise while on the road in collaboration with Dispatch and customers
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete the truck inspection log daily with samsara fleet

What’s Needed?

• Valid Class 5 Driver's License for at least 3 years required
• Over the age of 25 years (to meet company insurance requirements)
• Ability to provide a clear driver's abstract and proof of clear criminal history
• 2-3 years experience as a driver/ parcel delivery required
• Ability to problem-solve and collaborate with Dispatch and customers
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English
• Geographical knowledge of Mississauga and surrounding areas
