ALIGN provides professional engineering consulting services in municipal design & construction and transportation engineering & planning. The team at ALIGN is made up of dedicated civil engineering and transportation engineering professionals focused on supporting municipalities.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Civil Engineering Technologist at Align Engineering Ltd. The role primarily involves Civil 3D design of municipal infrastructure such as roads, water, sewer, ATC upgrades, process mechanical and much more. Other tasks may include survey, construction inspection, and the opportunity for many other tasks based on the applicant's experience and goals. Align Engineering offers the flexibility of a work-from-home approach; however we require that applicants be located in the Kelowna, BC area. Local field work and in-person team meetings will be required. Align hosts monthly social and other events for team members to connect.

Qualifications

• Excellent proficiency with AutoCAD CIVIL 3D software.
• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology
• Minimum 4 years experience as a Civil Engineering Technologist. More experience will be compensated accordingly.
• Current membership, in good standing with ASTTBC
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
• Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
• Construction inspection experience an asset
• Valid Class 5 BC driver’s license.

Remuneration

• $38 - $55 per hour
• Profit sharing eligible
