Are you interested in supporting the Chief People Officer during a unique and transformative time at the LCBO? Reporting to the CPO, you will provide a variety of confidential, accurate and efficient administrative, technical, and operational support to the Chief People Officer and supporting teams. You will coordinate meetings, manage schedules, develop presentations, create reports, respond to inquiries, proofread documents, and provide efficient administration of the daily operation and procedures within the department.

About the Role
  • Submit agenda items and gather all necessary supporting documents for Audit, Governance and Board meetings, observing deadlines.
  • Prepare internal and external business documents, communications, and presentations, including compiling information and researching responses.
  • Proofread a variety of documents for spelling, grammar, clarity, and tone.
  • Plan, coordinate and facilitate departmental meetings/workshops/events, attend, and transcribe meeting minutes.
  • Co-ordinate all travel arrangements and approvals, including the provision of meals, transportation, and accommodation.
  • Process requisitions and invoices, review, and track expenses, and log all credit card purchases monthly.
  • Support departmental budget process.
  • Help with new team members onboarding process.
  • Partner with other Executive and Administrative Assistants within the LCBO.
  • Flexible to take on other administrative responsibilities, team projects and ad-hoc projects as assigned.
About You
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree.
  • 5+ years of experience providing support services to multiple senior leaders in a corporate environment.
  • Highly developed organizational and time management skills to manage conflicting deadlines and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Superior attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, at all levels of the organization, including senior levels.
  • Experience working independently with sound judgement, diplomacy, tact and confidentiality.
  • Ability to adapt to different work styles and needs.
  • Intermediate knowledge of computer processing, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Oracle, and SharePoint including a high skill level in the creation of engaging and highly visual presentations.
  • Ability to independently research, assess complex topics or options, and make sound recommendations.
  • An understanding of budget reports and their preparation.
