Responsibilities
  • Our Certified Nursing Assistant – CNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant-STNA in Ohio) works with community management to provide seniors with personalized care and provide resident status updates at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Nursing assistants check in with residents, assist with dining and personal care needs, and perform vital sign checks and clinical procedures according to community policy.
  • Provide assistance with activities of daily living (showers, bathroom assistance, dressing / grooming).
  • Successful completion of State CNA / STNA course is required. Must maintain certification.
Qualifications
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification; in Ohio, this is STNA where applicable.
  • Ability to work with seniors and provide compassionate care as part of a team.

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Role is eligible for team-based bonus opportunities. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.

Veterans, transitioning active duty military personnel, and military spouses are encouraged to apply. Brookdale offers to advance fees for naturalization (Form N-400) costs, up to $725, for qualified associates with at least one year of service.
