A post-secondary institution in British Columbia is looking for instructors to teach professional skills courses such as Computer Training, Conflict Management, and Leadership. Ideal candidates have teaching experience and expertise in professional skills. Deliveries will take place in various locations including Dease Lake and Fort Nelson, and may be online or in-person. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and the ability to teach at least two courses. Positions are part-time, from February to December 2026. Competitive negotiation of salary will apply.

Description: Northern Lights College's CE Department is looking to hire instructors to teach professional skills courses, that may include, but not limited to:
Delivery of each course will be approximately 5 - 15 hours per week. Preference will be given to those who have the ability to teach a minimum of two courses.
Instructional positions are needed in Atlin, Chetwynd, Dawson Creek, Dease Lake, Fort St John, and Fort Nelson. Please specify in your application what location to apply your resume to.
Qualifications: The successful candidates will be subject matter experts in the areas that they are applying for, along with two years of teaching experience, or a combination of education and experience may be considered. The programs may be delivered both on campus and online; therefore, you must have demonstratable experience in D2L, or other similar online learning management platform; with preference given to those who have previous experience with Microsoft Office Teams application; and must have your own computer and reliable internet source.
Travel may be required off campus to other communities for course delivery; therefore, a valid driver's license is required.
