An education institution in Winnipeg seeks a Career Preparation Coordinator to facilitate career courses and mentor students through their job search. The ideal candidate has a passion for coaching and building partnerships with employers. Responsibilities include supporting practicum placements and career readiness initiatives. Experience in customer service or post-secondary education is preferred.

As a Career Preparation Coordinator, you will facilitate the Career Preparation course, coordinate practicum placements, and coach students on their employment journey. Reporting to the Workforce Team Leads, you will engage with students early in their programs, guiding them toward meaningful employment during and after their studies. Your role includes coaching, mentoring, and supporting learners in career development, as well as coordinating practicums for those who have not yet secured employment in their field. Building strong relationships with students and industry partners will be key to your success.
