Position Summary...

What You'll Do...

1. Ensure safe work processes and emergency procedures are followed, including safe lifting techniques, cleanliness, evacuations, register down times, emergency codes, and theft prevention.
2. Handle customer and associate concerns and provide guidance as required.
3. Monitor all front end associates to ensure proper coverage, coordinate breaks, and assist with outlying registers.
4. Provide training to associates on systems and company procedures, such as scanning accuracy, productivity, company programs and initiatives, discounts, EAS system, and safety protocols.
5. Oversee purchase, return, and exchange transactions, assist with error correction, provide approvals, and verify processes to meet company guidelines.
6. Ensure all EAS systems are functioning properly, including cashier deactivations, greeters handling issues, and completing "Failure to Deactivate" logs.
7. Prepare registers for opening and closing daily, support cashiers by providing change, maintain front end cash levels, and complete register audits for accuracy.
8. Promote and oversee all company-sponsored programs and initiatives, such as credit card services, Walmart protection plans, charity initiatives, and discount programs.
