Responsibilities
- Prepare Mise en Place for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces) while avoiding cross contamination
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary items
- Ensure that all food items come out simultaneously, high quality and in a timely fashion
- Prepare a variety of menu items based on Glencoe standards and requirements
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of culinary experience required
- Journeyman Seal or progress toward Red Seal certification is an asset
- Must have flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong ability to understand and follow both verbal and written instructions
- Must be comfortable standing or walking during the length of shift and be able to repetitively lift supplies weighing up to 50lbs
- Food Safe Certification is required

Additional Details
This is a full time position that reports to the Executive Chef. The successful candidate must be available to work a range of shifts, including weekends, weekdays, evenings, and holidays, with shifts beginning as early as 6 a.m. and ending as late as 8 : 30 p.m.
The successful applicant will be required to complete a background check prior to commencing employment.
