Job Details

• Work Location: #12102 86 Ave, Surrey BC V3W 3H7
• Term of employment: Full time, permanent position with 30 hours per week
• Compensation: $36.60/hour. Overtime at the rate of 1.5 times after 8 hours per day/40 hours per week.
• Benefits: WCB coverage and 4 % vacation pay

Job Duties

• Read & Interpret drawings & sketches to determine specifications.
• Mark outlines or dimensions on wood or wood products.
• Fabricate custom cabinets.
• Set up and operate woodworking machines and various hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble materials.
• Attach parts and subassemblies together to form wooden cabinets using glue, nails, screws, clamps.
• Install hardware such as hinges, handles, catches and drawer pulls using hand tools.
• Repair wooden cabinets and related products.

Requirements

• Education: Completion of secondary school
• Experience: 2 years of relevant work experience required.
• Language Requirements: English.
