Job description

Han Kook Meat Trading Ltd. is located at 101-7337 North Fraser Way, Burnaby, BC V5J 0G7 and 3514 Kingsway, Vancouver, BC V5R 5L7. We are currently looking for full time Butchers-retail or wholesale.

Types: Full-time, Permanent

Wage: CAD$23.69/hour

Working Hours: 30- 40 hours/week

Benefits: 4% of vacation pay, Extended medical insurance after 6 months of full time employment, Hot lunch at work

Job Duties:

  • Cut, trim, bone meats to prepare standard cuts;
  • Prepare meat for special displays and orders;
  • Wrap and package prepared meats;
  • Keep sales records and monitor supply to maintain inventory;
  • Ensure meats are clean and stored in safe conditions;
  • Follow safety standards and maintain workplace in sanitary conditions;
  • Supervise and train meat cutters.

Job requirements:

  • Completion of secondary school;
  • 1-2 years of on-the-job training.
  • (Completion of a college or other butchery training program an asset)
