Job Description

Embark on a career that goes beyond the balance sheet. As a Business & Policy Analyst, you’ll collaborate with multiple stakeholders to propel Canadian defence program success. We are looking for an agile, driven professional to join our team and leverage the company’s industrial participation portfolio to further industry growth and innovation.

You’ll play a pivotal role in the development and execution of industrial participation strategies, and can expect to:

  • Identify, develop, submit and negotiate activities eligible for Canadian ITB (Industrial and Technological Benefits) credit;
  • Generate ITB annual reports in compliance with contractual requirements;
  • Provide timely financial analysis and support to the Strategic Offsets team and senior management;
  • Support program Offset verification requirements;
  • Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders (e.g. program management, finance, contracts, supply chain managers) to support Offset policy compliance;
  • Support ITB strategies for Canadian programs and pursuits;
  • Participate in contract and subcontract Offset negotiations;
  • Engage with external industry and government stakeholders regarding ITB obligations.
Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of education).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand project cost structures and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Power BI.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer engagement and conflict resolution.
Nice to have
  • Demonstrated business acumen, with ability to analyze market trends, assess customer needs, evaluate financial and competitive implications, and make data-informed strategic decisions.
  • Experience managing ITB or international Offset obligations.
