As a Business Development Representative, you’ll be on the front lines of our growth, connecting with potential clients and generating qualified leads for our Sales Team.
Research and identify high-potential prospects in the GTA and other regions
Reach out to potential clients via email, phone, LinkedIn, and events
Educate prospects on MicroHabitat’s mission and programs
Qualify leads and schedule introductory meetings for Account Executives
Collaborate closely with the sales team to improve outreach strategies
Maintain detailed records in our CRM (HubSpot)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated and resilient with a results-driven mindset
Enthusiastic about sustainability and urban agriculture
Experience in customer service or sales is an asset
Comfortable with cold outreach and objection handling
100% commission-based
$250 per qualified lead (when a meeting is booked and accepted by sales)
1.5% commission on deals that close from your outreach
