Position details and responsibilities are described below.
The Business Advisor BDC Advisory Services delivers standard and customized advisory services projects for a specific practice with a focus on professional high-quality solutions that help entrepreneurs develop their business. He or she manages project delivery; provides subject matter expertise and occasionally sales support; and helps promote the practices offering.
Bachelors degree in Business Administration (BAA) IT or related professional designation (Masters degree in related field would be an asset).
Minimum of 5 years in a consulting firm with experience in implementing risk management frameworks specifically in cybersecurity
Training or significant experience in implementing frameworks such as ISO 27001 SOC2 PCI DSS NIST CSF or other
Privacy security training
Internal auditor training
In-depth subject matter expertise.
Ability to develop pragmatic solutions that are relevant in a SME business environment and to provide strategic coaching to the business as required.
Strong client and customer service orientation with a clear focus on delivering value to the client.
Proven ability to manage and deliver standard and custom consulting projects.
Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices in the context of delivering services to clients.
Demonstrated project management skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as an ability to participate in outreach promotion and business development activities.
Teamwork collaboration and relationship-building skills.
Bilingualism in English & French (an asset in most markets and a requirement in some).
Travel within a limited geographic area with occasional travel to other locations across Canada if required.
