About The Role

As a CBRE Mobile Technician, you’ll be a key contributor in keeping our client sites operating safely, efficiently, and reliably. You’ll diagnose issues and deliver preventive maintenance that ensures critical systems run at their best.

This role sits within our Engineering & Technical Services team—professionals dedicated to maintaining building infrastructure, optimizing system performance, and supporting our clients with exceptional service. You’ll play an essential role in sustaining facility uptime, enhancing operational performance, and creating safe, functional spaces for the people who use them every day.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform ongoing preventive maintenance on building systems, equipment, and facilities.
  • Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
  • Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs; manage and track completion.
  • Support energy management by taking measures to ensure that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner.
  • Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Use communication skills to exchange straightforward information and respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co‑workers, and supervisors.
  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
  • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
What You’ll Need
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of job‑related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Basic math skills; ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
