Westridge HR Professionals is supporting a long-standing organization in Toronto’s St. Clair West community in hiring a Bookkeeper due to an internal transition. You’ll benefit from a smooth handover, steady workflow, and a supportive team that values accuracy, trust, and reliability.

What You’ll Do
  • Maintain Accurate Financial Records: Post transactions, reconcile general and subsidiary accounts, and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, track payments, and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Cash Flow Monitoring: Track, analyze, and forecast cash flow to support financial decision‑making.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare recurring reports, identify variances, and highlight trends.
  • Audit & Tax Preparation: Assemble documentation for audits and support tax filing activities.
  • Inventory & Purchasing Integration: Work within systems connected to inventory tracking and purchase order functions.
  • Policy and Procedure Support: Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal financial processes.
  • Cross‑Team Collaboration: Liaise with internal departments, vendors, and external partners to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
  • General Support: Assist with additional administrative or financial tasks as needed to support smooth operations.
What You Bring
  • College diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA designation is an asset but not required
  • Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience; small business or product‑based experience preferred
  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop Pro and Online) and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with inventory and purchase order systems is a strong asset
  • High accuracy, strong organization, and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently
  • Positive, adaptable approach to supporting day‑to‑day operations
