Job summary

A governmental agency in Coquitlam is looking for someone to handle payroll calculations, maintain financial records, and prepare accounting reports. Applicants must have a college certificate and some experience in bookkeeping. This position requires on-site work with no remote option.

  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts
