Overview

The Policy Specialist will report to the Supervisor in Legacy Operations and will be responsible for handling transactions with various levels of complexity.

Position Responsibilities
  • Reviews and/or processes received transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Provide excellent service to internal and external clients, whether by email, phone calls, or correspondence. Respond to inquiries received from internal and external clients, after appropriate research and analysis. To do this, find the best way to solve the problem and accurately process the necessary operations.
  • Collaborate with teams located in various offices to achieve dynamic volumes and meet service standards.
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude in finding solutions to problems.
  • Contribute to the optimization of service efficiency by suggesting process improvements.
  • Collaborates effectively with the other departments within Policy Services.
  • Consistently meet or exceed productivity, quality and service standard objectives.
  • Multi-task and prioritize daily to maintain workload and address urgent/rush cases.
  • Ability to perform a wide range of tasks across the business area.
  • Consistent demonstration of flexibility and adaptability in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Confidently communicate (written or phone) with internal, external clients, sponsors, agents, and brokers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Routinely demonstrate ownership and accountability of all requests in a proactive rather than reactive manner.

Salary and Location

Working Arrangement: Remote

Salary range is expected to be between $44,775.00 CAD - $74,625.00 CAD. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Employees may participate in incentive programs tied to performance.
