Beauty Sales Specialist at Modern Beauty Supplies – Scarborough store. This is a Part-Time position suitable for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who wants to grow store sales and earn through bonus and incentive programs. We value a people-oriented approach and positive outlook.

Join a family-owned company established in Calgary in 1986, now Canada’s largest family-owned supplier with over 50 stores. We are the exclusive distributor of numerous product lines and recognized as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies for our growth and commitment to employees.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Beauty Sales Specialist to join our team in Scarborough. This role emphasizes building client rapport, flexibility with scheduling, and weekend availability to support ongoing growth.

Responsibilities
  • Provide superior customer service to all clients
  • Educate clients through consultative selling, promoting new products and knowledge of promotions
  • Drive sales using entrepreneurial initiative to build a loyal client base
  • Accurately and efficiently process financial transactions utilizing POS system
  • Maintain correct store promotions and signage, stock and display merchandising
  • Cash handling and opening / closing duties, including bank deposits
  • Oversee maintenance of store inventory regarding sending and receiving stock
  • Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to develop positive relationships with clients
  • Willingness to retain product knowledge to promote sales
  • Strong visual merchandising skills with attention to detail
  • Solid technical aptitude and ability to learn a new computer system
  • Highly motivated and reliable
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities; able to work in a team and independently
  • Passion for the Beauty Industry; experience as a hairstylist, nail technician, esthetician or in beauty sales is an asset
