The dedicated Business Development Centre (the Guest Centre) focuses on enhancing the customer experience through exceptional customer service. We invite Vehicle Sales People who are starting in the Automotive field to consider this position to learn how to best work with customers, provide relevant information, and begin relationship-building prior to visiting the dealership.

About the opportunity

As an integral part of the “we can do that” operation, this position is the first point of contact for customer inquiries. Specifically:

  • Responding to guest email inquiries about vehicles
  • Providing relevant information to the guest
  • Scheduling vehicle test-drive and sales appointments for the dealerships
  • Following up with the customer and dealership to ensure an extraordinary experience
  • Managing calls, texts and email tasks through a user-friendly customer relationship management system
  • Providing exceptional written and verbal communication with customers and dealerships
  • Performing outbound calls, texts and emails on a scheduled basis and offering other vehicle options if required
  • Building rapport with guests through concise inquiries and offering alternate vehicle options if their initial choice is sold
  • Occasionally replying to guests after scheduled work hours to ensure timely communication
  • Making outbound calls to current customers for sales events when required
Work hours

8:30am to 5:30pm, 5 days per week (alternating Saturdays). This is a hybrid position with in-office days on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at our Vaughan location (Jane and Rutherford area), and remote work on other weekdays.

About you

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in customer relationship and business development, with a passion for performance, including:

  • Valid OMVIC licence, or ability to obtain license prior to employment
  • Two (2) years proven experience as a sales and/or business development coordinator; dealership experience preferred
  • Strong ability to communicate professionally (verbal and written); fluency in English
  • Experience working with CRM systems; knowledge of Dealer Socket is preferred but not required
  • Vehicle knowledge preferred but not required
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft products (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) and remote collaboration tools
  • Ability to work effectively in both office and remote environments
  • Strong self-management skills and ability to maintain productivity while working remotely
  • Flexibility to occasionally respond to inquiries outside of regular work hours
  • Professional and courteous; enthusiastic and personable team player
  • Organized and strategic; ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution
  • A desire to work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
  • A proven commitment to quality of work
  • An ability to self-motivate and be team-centric
