What you are

The Bartender is a professional well-versed in the art of crafting cocktails and coffee beverages. You will utilize extensive knowledge of ingredients, flavor profiles, and classic combinations, including wine, beer, and coffee details to develop palate-pleasing beverages.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Welcome guests by being approachable, enthusiastic, professional, and hospitable in presence and demeanor
  • Elevate the guest experience by anticipating guest needs, identifying preferences and adapting service style
  • Maintain strong product knowledge of spirits, wine, beer and coffee; speak with authority to influence and inspire
  • Engage with guests while preparing orders or crafting beverages, adding personal flair to create intrigue
  • Adapt to service variations and fulfill requirements to meet guest needs
  • Use POS system to record transactions in line with company standards
  • Process bills and payments following cash handling procedures
  • Handle guest concerns with empowerment and minimal supervision
  • Provide sincere, service-focused attitude and a desire to succeed
  • Provide bar and table maintenance, deliver beverages, and support bartenders, baristas and other associates as required
  • Present food and beverages with attention to detail and visual flair
  • Prepare garnishes, restock products and maintain bar cleanliness
  • Maintain daily inventory of spirits, beer, wine and coffee; report discrepancies
  • Ensure guests leave with fond memories by delivering an exceptional experience
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership to support the guest experience
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience bartending in a full-service restaurant
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to carry, move and lift items up to 25 lbs; ability to stoop, bend, twist or turn as needed
  • Must be able to stand, walk and move for extended periods
  • Current and valid Smart Serve Certification
