The Day to Day

• Create a positive guest experience through engaging interaction and meticulous adherence to the steps of service including expert cocktail preparation and flawless execution
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all food and beverage items to confidently make recommendations
• Promptly receive drink orders and pour all beverages accurately according to O&B standards
• Present beverages clearly and professionally at the service bar pick-up area
• Communicate beverage descriptions specials and relevant information to guests and team members
• Set up and dismantle the bar area including dishwasher and cappuccino machine operation
• Stock and maintain all bar products including mise en place
• Monitor and maintain beer keg and liquor levels
• Conduct regular counts and inventories of all beverages and supplies assisting management with ordering
• Remain attentive to special requests including guest allergies
• Perform other duties as assigned or required

Qualifications

• Proven bartending experience in a catering restaurant or similar environment (preferred)
• Valid Smart Serve Certification (required)
• Extensive product knowledge including wine spirits and cocktails
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm and focused in fast-paced high-pressure situations
• Strong organizational skills with a sales-oriented mindset
• Excellent multitasking abilities
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain professional urgency and consistent momentum
• Availability to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada
