Job Overview

We are a Nordic type sourdough bakery located in Campbell River seeking a passionate and skilled individual to join our team as a Baker. In this role, you will be responsible for our Sourdough breads, including but not limited to: preparing and mixing the dough, shaping the loaves, baking the bread. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare various baked goods, including sourdough bread, ciabatta, brioche bun, etc following established recipes and workflow.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen to adhere to food safety standards.
• Assist in food handling and packaging of finished products for delivery or display.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely order fulfillment.

Experience

• Background in the food industry, particularly in restaurant or bakery settings, is preferred.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and baking processes is essential.
