Qualifications

• Must have successful completion of Grade 12 or equivalent (GED).
• Must possess a Certification of Qualification (Red Seal) as an Automotive Service Technician.
• Prior to employment, must have or procure all basic tools, toolbox and equipment necessary to operate as a Small Engine and Automotive Service Technician.

Responsibilities

• Perform qualified mechanical repairs, maintenance and rebuild light vehicle modifications.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes and tire rotations.
• Ensure proper materials, fluids, and parts are used according to vehicle specifications.
