A leading Canadian bank is seeking an Associate Director to lead the Product Control team for Canadian Banking. This role is key in managing P&L reporting and requires strong leadership and analytical skills, alongside a robust understanding of Product Control activities. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years in a related field and experience in project management. What is the opportunity?
This role leads the Canadian Banking Product Control team within the P&CB Finance, specifically covering Credit Card and Personal Banking & Investments.
This role is primarily accountable for effectively managing the weekly and monthly Profit and Loss reporting for the Canadian Banking platform. This involves managing a team of product controllers to ensure reporting is accurate and supported for the associated P&L and balance sheet. The Associate Director will also ensure that all daily and monthly accounting, reconciliations and attestations are performed regularly and are accurate and complete; as well as ensuring that all disclosures and regulatory reporting are performed monthly, quarterly or annually as required and are accurate and complete.
