Expected duties include:

  • Teaching undergraduate (and potentially graduate) courses in risk management and insurance, finance, or other business areas in Haskayne, including both core and elective offerings at introductory and advanced levels, with delivery in person and online.

  • Engaging in continuous professional development and contributing to the community of practice in teaching and learning.
  • Taking on service responsibilities within the Haskayne School of Business, with emphasis on enhancing student learning, fostering equity, diversity, and inclusion, and strengthening the teaching and learning environment.
  • Participating in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) and/or discipline-specific research, including peer-reviewed publications such as journal articles and case studies, the creation of shareable teaching materials, and dissemination at academic or professional conferences.
