Job description

Our WW Operations network delivers millions of packages and smiles to Amazon customers every day. We are looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals who want to join our team as an Area Manager. In this role, you will lead a team of hourly workforce and be responsible for maintaining the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance during their shifts.

You will also play a key role in ensuring our customer expectations are met to deliver orders at the right time and to the right location. Our Operation’s workflow has three major components: First mile (product housed and ready), Middle mile (order hauled to your area), and Last mile (product delivered to the customer’s door).

About the role: Area Manager II

As an Area Manager II, you will support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce, managing safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises. You will collaborate with support teams—Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources—to develop plans that meet business objectives.

Your duties include lifting up to 49 pounds and frequently pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching. You will stand and walk for up to 12 hours during shifts, work in varying noise levels and temperatures, and continually climb and descend stairs where applicable.
