A leading roofing and cladding contractor is seeking an Architectural Sheet Metal Worker to handle the installation and repair of metal roofs across multiple locations in BC. The role involves using both hand and power tools to measure, cut, and fit sheet metal products to specifications. Candidates should have a minimum of two years of sheet metal experience and be able to work safely at heights. This is a permanent full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Job Title: Architectural Sheet Metal Worker (NOC 72102)

Number of Positions: 8

Job Type: Permanent- Full-Time/shift work (40 hours per week)

Physical Job Location: Multiple locations in BC

Salary: $36.60/ hour

Vacation: 4% each pay cheque (6% after 5 years)

Start date of employment: As soon as possible

Responsibilities

• Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
• Measure and mark sheet metal according to templates
• Fit and join sheet metal parts using equipment
• Cut materials using hand or power tools
• Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes
• Grind and buff seams, joints, and rough surfaces
• Always adhere to safety requirements

Job Requirements

• Completion of High School
• 2 to 3 years of sheet metal installation experience is required
• Ability to handle and lift heavy loads up to 60lbs
• Steel-toed boots, hard hat, safety goggles, gloves, and tools
• Must be able to work at heights and in all weather conditions.
