Role and Responsibilities

We are currently recruiting a permanent, full-time Applications Analyst to join our Technology team. Reporting to the Vice President Systems Development & Administration, this role is ideal for someone who is passionate about administering, upgrading, maintaining, and continuously enhancing a diverse suite of applications. We are open to discussing flexible work location arrangements.

As the Applications Analyst at Prosperity Credit Union, you will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure our systems are reliable, efficient, and evolving to meet organizational needs. You will evaluate existing workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement system enhancements that streamline processes, strengthen operational efficiency, and elevate the overall applicant experience. In addition, you will provide trusted support to staff by troubleshooting and resolving application‑related issues, helping ensure seamless system use and a positive user experience across the organization.

Join our team and play a pivotal role in advancing Prosperity’s technology landscape as you:

  • Manage Applications: Develop, deploy, configure, maintain and support Hyland OnBase ECM (Electronic Content Management), Salesforce FSC (financial services cloud) CRM (Customer Relationship Management), Fiserv’s DNA core banking system, and various other systems within the organization.
  • Support End Users: Troubleshoot system issues, streamline service delivery, and develop clear training and support documentation while maintaining strong, customer‑focused relationships with all stakeholders. This role also provides ongoing maintenance and application support through close collaboration with third‑party vendors, management, and key internal partners across the credit union to ensure reliable, efficient, and well‑supported systems.
  • Build Enhancements & Efficiency: Analyze business problems to identify effective solutions, develop recommendations, and create business cases to support improvements. This includes coordinating, documenting, and executing user acceptance testing, along with tracking issues and reporting status updates. You will also identify opportunities to enhance the use of existing business applications and processes, integrating business process improvements with system enhancements to create holistic, efficient, and cost‑optimized workflows.
  • Lead with Purpose: Inspire confidence and trust by embodying Prosperity Credit Union’s mission and values, positioning Technology as a trusted partner across the organization while promoting strategic innovation and operational excellence.
  • Promote Collaboration & Innovation: Foster strong working relationships across departments, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors to implement new technologies that enhance operational efficiency and member experience. Support a culture of continuous learning, adaptability, and proactive problem‑solving within the department.
  • Support Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with legislation, internal policies, and procedures, staying informed of emerging legislation, security protocols, and compliance standards. Ensure full adherence to requirements, including privacy regulations, cybersecurity frameworks, and operational risk guidelines.
  • Champion a Customer‑Centric Environment: Lead efforts to improve both member and employee experience by executing strategies that foster satisfaction, engagement, and service excellence.
Qualifications
  • Post‑secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Administration and development certifications in Hyland OnBase and/or Salesforce FSC would be an asset.
  • Exceptional problem‑solving skills with a proactive approach to delivering exceptional service, minimizing downtime, and ensuring performance.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
