Responsibilities

Position Details:

Echo NDE is currently seeking a certified API 510, ABSA In‑Service, and CGSB UT 1 and MT 2 inspector based in Alberta. Candidates must be willing to client site on a rotational schedule.

Preference will be given to applicants based in the Edmonton or Calgary regions, as well as applicants with additional PT/LPI, or other NDE or API certifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform API 510 inspections and a variety of NDE surveys across a client facility, including varying methods and types of inspections/equipment per client requirements.
  • Create detailed reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Co‑ordinate with administrative staff to create final reports to send to clients.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with both clients and co‑workers.

Requirements:

  • Current API 510 certification with ABSA In‑Service certification.
  • CGSB UT Level 1, MT Level 2 certification.
  • Additional PT/LPI or other API or NDE certifications are a strong asset.
  • Current First Aid, H2S Alive, Confined Space Entry/Rescue, Fall Protection, CSO, and EWP training.
  • Detail oriented and well organized.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment as part of a team, as well as independently.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
