A financial services company in Winnipeg is seeking an Analyst for Corporate Development Analysis & Diligence. The role includes preparing documents, coordinating A&D projects, and supporting cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates will possess strong analytical abilities and project management skills, and will have the opportunity to gain experience in private markets M&A. This is a rare early-career opportunity to work within private markets M&A and learn M&A work as part of a motivated and high-performance team responsible for analysis and due diligence of prospective partner firms in the financial services industry.
Working directly with analysis & diligence project leads you will ensure that work progresses at an appropriate pace and take the lead on first drafts of most analyses and deliverables. Additionally you will work with relevant stakeholders across the organization and support post-closing action items such as reporting accounting and integration hand-offs leveraging the understanding of the prospective partner firms gained during diligence. The successful candidate will require strong attention to detail, organizational, project management and analytical skills.
