A regional school board is seeking Before and After School Support employees to work alongside Designated Early Childhood Educators in Waterloo. Responsibilities include fostering positive interactions, supporting children's exploration in a safe environment, and ensuring health and safety compliance. Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) serves approximately 65,000 students in 123 schools, as well as alternative and continuing education sites. The Board is seeking applications for Before and After School Support (B.A.S.S.) employees to work alongside a Designated Early Childhood Educator (DECE) to support play-based programming for students in junior kindergarten to grade 6 in WRDSB’s Before and After school program.
NOTES: The Successful Candidate will be required to provide a satisfactory Criminal Background Check including the Vulnerable Sector, which must be received in Human Resources prior to the commencement of employment. The Board does not assume any costs associated with the Criminal Reference Check. Social Insurance Number (SIN), date of birth, and proof of educational qualifications will be required at the time of an offer of employment.
