Job summary

A leading aerospace company located in Quebec is seeking a Professional in Engineering - Stress Analysis to support aerospace operations. This role focuses on performing stress analyses, conducting material reviews, and working collaboratively with other engineering functions. The ideal candidate will have a degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, with at least five years of industry experience. Expectations include good communication skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment, with flexibility for weekend work if needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience in the aerospace industry, preferably with an OEM.
  • Experience in aircraft structural substantiation analysis: Static, Fatigue/Durability, and Damage Tolerance.
  • Willingness to work weekends if necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Engineering and Operations organizations.
  • Perform various stress analyses for metallic and composite structures.
  • Participate in Engineering development work as required.
