Job summary

A leading aerospace company based in Canada is looking for an Advisor, Sustainability to support their sustainability initiatives. The successful candidate will manage data collection, help create sustainability reports, and navigate disclosure regulations in various jurisdictions. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in sustainable development is required along with strong communication skills in both French and English. The Sustainability team

The Sustainability team is responsible for governance, strategy and disclosures related to sustainability. The sustainability team is required to work cross‑functionally with all departments in order to integrate sustainability into the social, corporate and operational fabric of the company.

What are your contributions to the team?
  • Support the team in the creation of the sustainability report, climate‑related disclosures and all other external communications related to the company's sustainable development.
  • Manage and ensure the quality of data collection using the data collection tool.
  • Guide the company through the new mandatory sustainability and climate‑related disclosure regulations in all jurisdictions where Bombardier operates.
  • Work with the various departments in order to achieve the corporate objectives related to the sustainability plan.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research and analysis to support sustainability strategies and objectives.
  • Support the team and the Vice‑President, HRIS and sustainability in the various governances.
How to thrive in this role?
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in sustainable development, social economic development, environment or a related field.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in sustainability or related role.
  • Excellent command of French and English, both oral and written.
  • Knowledge of sustainability and climate disclosure standards.
  • Proficiency in quantitative analysis using technological tools.
  • Superior communication skills and ability to collaborate with different teams in a large company on a variety of topics.
