WVU Medicine is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider for the Emergency Department at Princeton Community Hospital in Princeton, WV. Join a team serving approximately 40,000 visits per year, supported by the tertiary and academic WVU Health System. Practice community emergency medicine with a competitive private practice compensation aligned with an academic department.
This fully accredited, 203-bed acute care facility serves a 10-county region in southern West Virginia and southwestern Virginia. It offers advanced medical technologies and procedures, including diagnostic imaging and minimally invasive surgery. PCH also provides behavioral health services at The Behavioral Healthcare Pavilion of the Virginias, a 64-bed psychiatric hospital in Bluefield, WV. Located in Mercer County, Princeton offers a rich cultural and natural environment, blending progressive business with traditional values.
The APP manages emergency medicine patients, coordinates care with specialty teams, performs procedures, and participates in education. The role involves comprehensive patient assessments, developing care plans, and ensuring effective discharge and follow-up.
