Overview
Position: Administrator Compliance & Ethics — Employment Type: Contract (13 Months) — Location: EDC headquarters in Ottawa or from one of our Community Hubs located in Montreal. This role operates in a hybrid work environment currently requiring employees to work in the office 2 days per week (subject to change).

Responsibilities
- Office Administrator / Coordinator supports the Office of the Vice President and the VP’s direct reports; prepares and attends meetings, records minutes, and ensures filing of information remains relevant and up-to-date.
- Leverages activities and provides recommendations to the leadership team and VP; liaises with the VP, Senior Vice President, and other executives.
- Manages group budget (reconciliation, maintenance, and forecasting) responsibilities.
- Provides administrative support to the VP and leadership team including handling correspondence, calendar management, meeting agendas, workflows, information routing, document preparation, logistics, inquiries, and budget administration.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations for the Compliance team.
- Follow up on Compliance team deliverables to ensure timely completion and adherence to company standards.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of compliance reports and documentation; liaise with internal and external stakeholders on compliance-related matters.
- Manage VP travel scheduling and bookings; administer VP expenses and tracking.
- Coordinate leadership meetings and minutes (weekly, monthly, Townhalls, etc.).
- Manage group SharePoint and related Livewire requests.
- Identify, enhance, and follow processes to maximize office workflow efficiency.
- Organize and prepare documents using standard office software; gather and summarize data for special reports.
What you will be doing
- Provide administrative support to the VP and leadership team, including handling correspondence, calendar management, meeting agendas, workflows, document preparation, logistics, inquiries, and budget administration.

- Resolve administrative problems and initiate improvements to administrative standards, controls, and processes.
- Prepare documents for technology devices using standard office software; gather and summarize data for special reports.
- Identify and follow processes to maximize office workflow efficiency.
What we are looking for
- Possession of a high school diploma.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in an administrative or clerical role.
- Demonstrated experience supporting senior leaders in a professional environment.
- Proven experience as an assistant or in a similar administrative role, preferably in a compliance or legal environment.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of computer applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook and related programs).
What will make you stand out
- Bilingual in French and English.
- Administrative / Executive Assistant training would be an asset.
